Our story begins in Carini, a charming town in Palermo, Sicily, that inspired our restaurant name. Giosue and Rosalia Sanzone arrived in America in 1976, bringing with them a passion for food and a dream.
They honed their culinary skills and gained valuable restaurant experience, which soon blossomed into the vision of their own establishment. In 1978, that dream became a reality with the founding of Carini's in their new hometown of Richmond VA.
Today, the Carini's tradition of culinary excellence and heartfelt passion continues under the dedicated leadership of their daughter, Maria Sanzone.
